Content When Using Social Media

There are many things that come up when thinking about social media content and there are different types of social media content. Some different types of social media content contain; infographics, live videos, testimonials, and GIFs. In this blog, I will explain the different types of social media content.

Infographic

First, infographics help condense and simplify concepts that are on the more complicated side. There are many different infographics. They include visuals so that they are easily comprehensive and they are more like a storytelling tool. They are important because, 

1. Enhanced comprehension: Infographics make it easier to understand information by visually presenting it in a structured and organized manner
2. Increased engagement: Infographics can attract the attention of viewers. They can also increase the overall engagement level of visitors on a page. This can result in more time spent on your website.
3. Easy sharing: Infographics are highly shareable. Making them a powerful marketing tool. When a viewer finds the information in an infographic helpful or interesting, they are more likely to share it on social media platforms. This can exponentially increase the reach of your content.
4. SEO boost: Infographics are a great way to add high-quality content to your website. Which search engines place a lot of value on. They also have the potential to generate backlinks. Which can boost your overall SEO efforts

All of this is according to Zehenya Zerkalenkov. There are statistical , informational, timeline, process, etc. This is an easier way to retain information quickly. 

Live Video

Live videos are the most important in my opinion because they are real-time. They feed off of engagement, interaction, and stronger connection building. In social media, they are important because, "Can capture your customers' attention, educate them about your company and products or services, and inspire them to take action" (Triton Commerce). Talking a little about advantages when using live videos for social media, there are so many. Some include boosting engagement, instant feedback, knowing your audience, building your brand, and personal connection with your audience. 

Testimonials

Testimonials are important, positive statements, reviews, and recommendations of a product, or business provided by the customer. These are important because they build credibility and trust within your market. This makes your customers feel important and it builds your business to customer relationship. It also shows that you care to the point where your customers will engage on social media platforms and share posts, comments, and other things. 

GIFs

GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format. A gif is a file format for basic images that are only on the internet. They are used for communicating digitally. People who use these are using them to express how they are feeling in a playful way. They are quick and easy to use and they help people make like out of darker situations. These are images that move instead of stand still images.

In my opinion, I think out of the social media content that I created, I think infographics are the most important because you can learn so much just one page that is full of information and it is easily retained. I think it is better for people who may learn much easier nay visuals.
